Parking is very convenient at Birch Aquarium at Scripps, as they offer free 3-hour parking in the lot. You can extend your parking for a small fee, buy purchasing a parking permit in the Visitor Services office.

Using technology, the aquarium was able to create a brace that would prevent further complications. Truly an amazing story.

For those who want to get outside, the Preuss Tide Pool Plaza is a must-visit. Here you can get up close and personal with many tide pool animals, including sea stars, anemones, hermit crabs, juvenile sharks, lobsters, sea cucumbers, and many other organisms from the ocean. What’s great about the Tide Pool Plaza is you can catch some of the most spectacular ocean views in San Diego. Although you can’t see all the way down to Cabrillo National Monument, this spot overlooks La Jolla and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
